One of the most enjoyable parts of my job is interacting with the young people in the church. Even though they usually don't have much to do with me outside baptism, the youngest of our parishioners provide me with quite a bit of entertainment on Sundays.
Case in point: this past weekend I arrived shortly before the end of Mass and came across a little boy and girl, probably not much over one year old, holding hands and playing together. The little girl said, "Lub you!" and gave the little boy a kiss on the cheek. He looked like he didn't know what happened -- a typical boy.
"Aww," all of us adults sighed at this adorable sight.
The next thing we knew, the little girl had raised her skirt and put it over the little boy's head.
I stifled my laughter ... it seems they're starting younger and younger these days!
