St. Brigid of Kildare

I have been preparing a little talk on my family background for an upcoming Youth Group meeting in which we're celebrating our diversity and our similarities.

Since our meeting is so close to February 1, I thought it would be appropriate to have my kids make very simple St. Brigid's Crosses out of brown pipecleaners for her feast.

While searching for additional resources for her online, I came across a couple of lines in a prayer of hers I loved:

I would like a great lake of beer for the King of Kings.

I would like to be watching Heaven’s family drinking it through all eternity. Amen.
