Job Description

I got an email from a favourite theology colleague a few days ago. She asked me how my job "helping priests to grow" was going.

What a great description of what I do day-to-day! And yes, I have seen much growth and improvement among the two I work most closely with over the past year, though things were definitely not so easy to start. Now, however, one has earned a B for effort because he actually talks to me periodically instead of just avoiding me and eye contact in general, and the other one has earned a B+ for achievement because he talks to me like I'm a person, trusts me to take care of some things for him, and seems to appreciate my sense of humour sometimes (except the self-deprecating kind... we'll work on that later.)
