It's the holiest week of the Christian calendar, and mostly everyone I encounter around here is running around like a chicken with its head cut off.
Ironically, I'm finding things pretty low-key so far. I had my busy weeks two weeks ago, and I have another frightenly crazy ten days after Easter, but Holy Week itself is pretty peaceful for me. So far. I don't want to speak too soon.
I did receive a very kind email from a priest in the same order this morning, advising me: "I know this can be a crazy week, so every now and then sit down and take a deep breath and close your office door."
Wise fellow. I shall take his advice when things do start to pick up and I'm ready to scream at somebody in a collar.
