Surgery was successful yesterday and despite quite a bit of pain today, I'm doing well and resting comfortably at home. My mom came into the city to help me as long as I need her since I'm moving about like I'm about 80 years old right now -- I keep dropping things and can't bend down to get them (sigh). But, I already feel better than I did yesterday and am in good spirits.
