I enjoyed a quiet Saturday after a very late night in anticipation of what will be a whole lot of mayhem tomorrow. I slept in, polished off the rest of 30 Rock season one, did a little indoor gardening and sent several texts back and forth with last night's companion.
I wonder who invented Reese's peanut butter cups, and hope that they are living as happy a life as their product made me this day as I went about my texting and 30 Rocking. :)
Tomorrow could be quite chaotic: I'm hosting a parish party for our transitional deacon who is dropping in to say farewell, and we're having a meeting in the afternoon to which all parishioners are invited which I suspect could be rather tense. I'll be taking the minutes during that. It will be a long day, but it is my last Sunday at work until July, so I can't really complain there. Yay holidays.
