There was a visitor to the house tonight just before I left for home. Our newbie priest gave him a tour starting with the bathroom right across from my office -- and that stop actually took more than 30 seconds. "Hmmm," the visitor noted as he looked it over. My office with me in it got no comment whatsoever, but the bathroom was worth an honourable mention and an interested "Hmm".
Unbelievable.
The boss came into my office this afternoon and invited me on a trip to a shopping supercentre with virtually half the house tomorrow. We're taking two cars for four people and the seating arrangements were determined in advance by him much to my and another employee's chagrin. Seeing as I seem to have broken a toe -- again -- overnight, I told him he walks too fast and I won't be able to keep up so we should just reschedule it. He said we'll see how I do.
Lord, give me strength.
