After last night's dinner I'm still reveling in some of the compliments my guest gave including:
- My folks' house is one of the nicest the guest had ever seen
- It was the cleanest house the guest had ever been in (that is not down to me, by the way)
- My corn on the cob was the best ever tasted
- My chicken recipe was a must-have
- Both cats are lovely and have wonderful personalities
- I look much younger than I did seven years ago
