The cook was quite upset a few weeks ago when she noticed her personal radio was missing from the workplace. Everyone was questioned about it and denied taking it. She chalked it up to light-fingered workers we had had in the office on a previous day.
At some point in the last week, her radio reappeared in one of the rooms upstairs. When I asked about it today, she cautioned me, "Nothing is personal here. Nothing is private. I could leave a bra downstairs and come in tomorrow and find the associate pastor wearing it."
"It would look nice with his cassock," I quipped, before adding, "Thanks for that image. I will see it now every time I close my eyes."
We both had a good laugh.
