Here, There and Everywhere

I traveled home to visit my family this weekend and had an absolutely wonderful time. It's always too brief a visit.

This afternoon I returned to my place with hopes of participating in a contemporary art thing, but the weather appears not to be cooperating. Add that to the fact that everyone I used to enjoy such festivals with has moved out of the city, so, with a bit of a heavy heart, I have decided to give it a miss for the first time ever.

Instead, I'm making a list and checking it twice for my next excursion. Four work days left and I'm heading home again briefly before stepping foot on an airplane for the first time in 6.5 years. It's definitely time.
