My First Cake

My first cake finished post-decorating course:

I used several techniques including stars, rosettes, shells, drop flowers, apple blossoms, lettering and colour fill. The sides feature a series of crosses and apple blossoms.

I did not use roses because of this:

The way I see it, roses cost 35 cents to buy, or cost me hours of frustration and grey hair. So, I shall buy roses if I want roses.

Hopefully the staff will enjoy their free cake on Monday.
