I am back in the big city after spending Christmas 2009 with my family. It was a very nice celebration together: quiet, festive, fun and much laughter. I transferred all of our family videos from VHS to DVD for my brother, sister-in-law and parents for Christmas, and that seemed to be a real hit with everyone.
I'm back today to prepare and bake a cake for my visitor from Ottawa who arrives tomorrow. I've never been one for New Year's festivities, but I think this year will be especially memorable.
