The computer is back up and running at home. It has taken me about 6 hours of installing, uninstalling, reinstalling and generally cleaning up software and files, but finally this is starting to look like my computer again. Fortunately nearly every file I had is on here, and I didn't lose all I had feared. Yes, I am going to be backing up the last two months of photos and files this weekend.
I received an email update last night about the woman who fell gravely ill at the dinner I didn't want to go to on Wednesday. She had a heart attack but is on the mend in hospital. We're all keeping her in our prayers and we're glad that a parish nurse decided to attend the dinner and save a life that night.
I'm attending a workshop concerning youth ministry this weekend, and hope it's not a total review of everything I already figured out on my own. Speaking of that, I need to get writing that note to my alma mater about what I wish they had told me before entering full-time ministry.
