I attended an ecumenical Advent service the other day. One of the hymns chosen was one with which I was not familiar: Lo He Comes With Clouds Descending.

Btw, it's one of my favourite hymns, especially the recording by Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band!
I had never heard it before; I did think the choice of "The Angel Gabriel" was pushing the envelope a bit by the Catholics at an ecumenical event...
Another favourite: "Most highly flavoured gravy....Glooooria!"
