I went to see my doctor for the fourth time about my aching foot. She is finally sending me to someone -- a sports doctor. I laughed when she said it only because I am not even remotely an athletic person.
However, as she pointed out, the wait would be much shorter than to see an orthopedic surgeon. In fact, they phoned me two hours later and voila, I'm going on Monday.
After the visit this morning, I hit the mall where I spent the rest of my Christmas money on beautiful clothing. In a very timely way, I also broke my watchband while trying on said beautiful clothing and so I got that replaced too -- it was well overdue for a change.
The rest of the day was spent trying to find my desk. It's under all that paper... I am sure of it.
I also realized with some considerable shock that I have vacation scheduled next week, and now, apparently, two weeks of work to do in two days. Let the fun and games begin!
