Christmas Pageant

The associate and I looked like quite the sight this afternoon, I am sure, as we ran through the music he agreed to play for us for our Christmas pageant this coming Sunday. He sat at a chair much too short for the piano on our stage -- very Glenn Gouldesque, actually -- while I stood beside him singing along. He kept insisting, "Sing louder so I can get the hang of this melody!" and eventually I was really belting it out while he played. We plan to give repeat performances tomorrow and Thursday until it becomes more natural for him and before we debut my choir and his piano skills to the audience on Sunday. By Thursday afternoon we'll be selling tickets, I think!
