Valentine's

A delivery came to my office yesterday while I was still out recovering. Apparently when it arrived, the secretary had them on display on her desk, much to the chagrin of the cook. The cook insisted she put them in my office, but the secretary refused, "No -- there's no light in there!" The secretary later confessed to me that she liked pretending someone had sent them to her.

Finally the boss came along and said with surprise, "What's this?"

The secretary said, "They're 'Get Well' flowers for Workister."

Then the boss bent over to study them closer, looked shocked and shook his head vigorously, "No... They're VALENTINE'S!"

The cook later reenacted the whole episode for my amusement.
