This and That

It's been a longer than usual hiatus for me, but things have been a little crazier than usual as well. I had a nice break away at home late last week where I healed up from my flu and did some good retail therapy as well. After that, the beau arrived and we enjoyed a visit with each other, and he was such a good sport he even voluntarily did a presentation for my youth group on Sunday. Much to my surprise and delight, I came home after that long day and discovered he had also made dinner, did some cleaning up and bought me a bunch of bright yellow tulips too. Aww!

The last two days at work have been long ones: yesterday I racked up a whopping 12.5 hours. When one of the parishioners offered me a lift home, I definitely didn't decline. Today should be a little slower, and tomorrow I have a meeting that I am really looking forward to attending (that's neither sarcasm or hyperbole), before I get to enjoy yet another wonderful weekend with the beau. It should be interesting ... he's going to teach me about motorcycles.
