I was walking behind a group of high school boys today, and I overheard one say that he watched the TV show "30 Rock" for the first time last night. One of his friends asked, "Why, because Tina Fey is on it?", assuming, I suppose, that her fame has risen since her Sarah Palin impersonations during the election, and that would positively impact her prime time show.
I suppressed a giggle as the first boy unabashedly explained, "No, because I heard Oprah was on it."
