Jiggly Day

Today was a much better day. The fact that I helped to taste-test a bunch of new sacramental wines before 10:00am might have had a small role to play in my "jiggliness" (the only way I, as a non-drinker, can describe how I felt after all the testing!). Whether it was that or just the timbre of the day itself, the whole day seemed better and more joyful than those recently. (My buzz was so intense at one point in the morning I went into the priests' dining room and stole a couple of cookies just to bring myself down a little. Yipes...!)

I will, however, stop short of saying that I am going to start "taste-testing" some wine before I go into work every day. Even though the added joy in the day was great.

The morning flew past after the wine-tasting episode. In the afternoon, I had a meeting with a lovely group of ladies who completely understood how I felt after the previous couple of days of lacking understanding and respect for my position by various people.

After the meeting, I headed over to the mall looking for jelly beans for an event I'm hosting on Sunday. Eventually I found some and as I came bounding up the steps out of the mall, I walked, almost literally, into Atom Egoyan, who was bounding down the steps from above. He's such an arrogant, tiny little man. (I have had some unpleasant professional dealings with him in my past life). He seemed to be giving his "help" a run for their money. Too perfectly funny.

A great end to a jiggly day.
