Mother's Day

It was rather amusing the number of times I was wished "Happy Mother's Day!" this past weekend while working at the church. Most of the time I just said thank you to the well-meaning parishioners, but one asked me point blank if I had any kids. I pondered that for a second before replying that yes, I have about 350 kids in the parish, so in a way, I guess I was celebrating Mother's Day too.
