Powerless

I arrived just before 1pm yesterday to discover the whole place was in the dark. The power had gone out before noon, Hydro wasn't aware of the situation when we called, and by the time I shut down our tutoring program at 7:45pm, there was still no electricity.

That's a bit of a problem for trying to get work done. No photocopier to finish the Confirmation programs. No computer and printer to finish the outstanding certificates and nametags. No phone to contact the people whose names you want to verify. No email to contact the teacher at the school next door.

Sigh. Hopefully it's back on today or else this could be an excruciatingly long day.
